Circus Ring Piece - Lyrics

The brown clown took a lot of coaxing
To come out from behind the chocolate curtain
He made noises from behind the curtain that made everyone laugh

The crowd erupted as he poked his head out
from behind the curtain and made faeces
he was terribly prone to stage-fright,
he got nervous & dashed back behind the curtain

He poked his head out again (uh) & this time he was pushed
(one too free Forsyths sick heaven clap clap clap )
It always took a lot of effort to get the clown out (ring scrape noise)
as one time the back door shut on him & almost cut him in two.

Finally after much effort from behind the scenes
& much cheering from the red faced crowd
the clown dashed out of the ring
almost slipping on a cob of sweetcorn

As the clown dashed out of the ring headfirst
he narrowly missed knocking his head on the pink elephants’
long, wrinkly trunk, which happened to be dangling over the edge of the ring

The clown was very entertaining & once the clown had come out
everyone felt much better.
The clowns act was very messy, cuss-turd pies anal, so the ring master had to come out
& wipe down the ring with a large cloth, (ring wiping noise – to fade)
